Earlier this morning, we detected unusual activity on one of our servers. Out of an abundance of caution, we immediately took the affected server offline while we investigated.

This precautionary action impacted a small number of our customers. Our investigation has confirmed that no sensitive information was compromised.

As a result of our analysis, we are deploying a patch at 8:00 p.m. ET this evening. We expect no service disruption during the deployment.
We will continue to closely monitor the environment and will provide additional updates as we have information to share.

Monitoring

Server functionality has been restored, and you should now have access to your MX sites.

To restore full service, we did need to roll back to our September 7, 2026 archive which will impact any web site configuration changes (Files and Folders) made after that date. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience, and our support team is ready to assist with any updates you need.

Please reach out if you continue experiencing issues or need assistance.

A full investigation into the root cause is ongoing and our top priority. We will communicate our findings once complete.

Investigating

We're aware that some MX sites may currently be unavailable, and we want to keep you informed while we work to resolve it.
This morning, our team identified an issue with one of the hosting servers and took it offline as a precaution while we investigate and work on a fix. This step helps us protect your data and services while we address the underlying problem.
We don't have an estimated restoration time yet. We'll send a further update by 10AM EST, or sooner if the situation changes.
In the meantime, please direct any questions to support@protechassociates.com.
We appreciate your patience and understanding, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Restoring full service is our top priority.
